Talking Rocks Cavern

Couple in cave jmm0019

Talking Rocks Cavern can be enjoyed year round (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas Day).  Tours of the cave depart frequently throughout the day and take about 1 hour.  Other exciting cave activities are also available for adventure lovers.  The Powell Cave Eco-Tour takes approximately two hours and focuses on the geology and natural history of the Ozark Mountains.  This tour will visit rock outcrops, glade and forest environments, a spring, an observation tour, and Powell Cave.  The Wild Cave Adventure takes you through the Indian Creek Caverns ("Mud Cave").  It is currently the longest cave in southwest Missouri with over 2 miles of mapped passages.  This tour takes about 4-6 hours.  Prepare to get muddy.  Then there are also numerous educational opportunities through the Speleolab Cave Science Education Program where kids can learn the science behind how caves are formed.

On the surface their are just as many activities to do as underground.  Crawl through the SpeleoBox maze.  150 feet of twisting, winding passage which is used by "cavers" to practice safe caving.  Or take a walk on our nature trail.  We even have a new 40 foot Treetop Tower and Gemstone Mining.  At Talking Rocks Cavern their are tons of things for everyone to do and explore.  And don't forget to check out our gift shop for souvenirs.  This Branson attraction has it all.  So what are you waiting for.  Come join us for a day full of exploration and fun.
