Dickerson Park Zoo

Established in the 1930’s, Dickerson Park Zoo in Springfield, Missouri is constantly revitalizing its grounds and expanding awareness of animal life on earth.  Themed exhibits include species from South America, Africa, Tropical Asia, Australia, and North America, the latter containing a number of creatures specific to Missouri.  Over 450 animals spanning 160 different species make the Dickerson Park Zoo a fun learning experience for the family.  Located less than an hour from Branson Missouri, it is a great adventure and attraction for kids, parents, and individuals of all ages.  Don’t forget to save time to ride the Titus Express Train Ride, shop at the gift shop, and play at the playground park adjacent to the zoo.  Whether on vacation in Branson MO or local to the area, Dickerson Park Zoo is a Missouri attraction not to be missed.
